Diamond from ‘08 tender reborn as ‘Kimberley Red’

A 1.77-carat, radiant-cut, fancy deep purplish-pink diamond that didn't attract a buyer at Rio Tinto's 2008 Argyle Pink Diamond tender has been recut into a stone that has everybody seeing red, literally.
